Yahweh’s Tribe’s First Project

 

One of the visions for the year 2018 at The Tribe is to run with the mandate. The team appeared to go dark for almost more than a month and now they are back with a bang! Today, history will be made as they present their first ever concluded project.

The tribe releases into the music stream her first artiste under the Yahweh’s Tribe Records label. He is no other than Zumba aka Singing Preacher. Zumba amidst others in Yahweh’s Tribe’s Records label is the first the first managed artiste under Yahweh’s Tribe Records to release his song titled RAPTURE.

In an exclusive interview, Zumba expresses himself in excitement about the song and him being part of Yahweh’s Tribe’s Records. Below are the excerpts of the interview:

Ques: Please sir, may we meet you?

Zumba: my name is Zumba Chinedu John

Ques: What part of the federation in Nigeria do you reside?

Zumba:  The west, for now.
Ques:  So far, we’ve know you to be in the music industry, for how long have you been there?
Zumba: Since 2009
Ques: Sir, your new single, Rapture, can you tell us more about this single, what drove your inspiration?
Zumba: Rapture was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God from the perspective of the way mankind craves for power, earthly glory and pleasure forgetting the reality that soon those mundane things shall all pass away with the sudden departure of the Saints of Christ (the rapture) to a better place in heaven.

Ques: How long did you work on the song?

Zumba: Well, I can't really get the actual time or year I started working on it but it's been over 6 years now but God perfected it just last year December to be precise.

Ques: Indeed, and of no doubt the song is a good one, but we believed there were challenges faced, can you tell us a few?

Zumba: Hmmm... Challenges... Challenges... If I get the question right, I won't say there were any challenges.... All there was, was just that I had to wait for the appointed time to write and produce the song as God willed.

Ques:  Why do you think people need to listen to the song, rapture?

Zumba: Oh, because it's the song for the moment... Everybody (believers and non-believers) must be warned and cautioned that whatever they think they are enjoying in this world is just a mirage... there is every need to start preparing for the real thing (the rapture) that will take us to where ALL IS REAL - IN HEAVEN. This song is a must listen because it will surely awaken the thirst and hunger for holiness unto God.

Ques: Coming back to more about you, you bear the name Singing Preacher, how did it come about?

Zumba:  I was in the bathroom 2 years ago and the Lord spoke to me clearly, He said   "Go into the world with the name SINGING PREACHER".

Ques: How many songs have you released so far? Which of your previous songs has been your best and why?

Zumba: Well, talking about releasing of songs... I've actually done many but not really released them. The ones I've released are just about 9 the rest are to be worked on for better IMPARTATION under God.

Ques: What got you first into music?

Zumba: I used to be a very good artist (drawing) until God started changing that passion into music. Showing me how souls/people are dying and going to hell. And on the other hand He was letting me understand how the circular musicians are destroying lives through satanic songs and how many "gospel singing ministers " are actually not concerned about GENUINE SOUL WINNING.

Ques: How far would you say you’ve gone, winning souls for the kingdom of God through music?

Zumba: I can't say how far for sure, but I get testimonies of lives changing from these songs and various ministrations and one thing I know is that I will always do these songs as the spirit of God directs, then soul winning is left to Him alone.

Interviewer: We thank you deeply for your time, we do share in the euphoria of the new single and we believe it would serve its purpose to all and sundry.

 

In a separate interview with head of Yahweh’s Tribe Records, Tribesman Precious Godfrey, the team expresses excitement about this milestone release.

Interviewer: Good evening Tribesman Precious or should I say, Presh?

Tribesman Precious: Good evening sir

Ques: As pertains Yahweh's Tribe, who is Tribesman Presh?

Tribesman Precious: Alright. Tribesman Presh is the head of the music unit of Yahweh's Tribe Inc. A sub-arm of the big house

Ques: OK... That must be a big position, isn't it?

Tribesman Precious: Hahahahaha… Well, Yahweh's Tribe is a big house called to make global impact so yes. I'll say, it's a big position. God never does small things you know.

Interviewer: True...

Ques: As unit head, what specifically do you do?
Tribesman Precious: It entails a whole lot. Ranging from managing the artistes to organizing repertoire and many more. Specifically, I'll say I have the responsibility of handling everything pertaining to the music
Ques: ok, one of your artiste is releasing a song on the 3rd, titled Rapture. What's the song basically about and what does it minister to you?

Tribesman Precious: Yeah. The song 'Rapture'. In an age where the focus is totally on mundane things, the song is an attempt to bring back to mind, the reality of the coming of Christ and to stamp the urgent need for preparation in the hearts of people. For me, it's a wakeup call to prepare

Ques: Alright... Are we going to expect these kinds of songs from your house or is it for the sake of just being or doing something new?

Tribesman Precious: Well well, Yes! Because of the need in this age, Yes!  There sure would be more of these as the Holy Spirit leads us. Yahweh's tribe music is totally subject to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Ques: That wouldn't suggest that music by other people aren't Holy Spirit led, would it?

Tribesman Precious: Of course it won't. God's instructions to His Children differ based on His purpose for them per time. We just want to stick with whatever the Holy Spirit says to us.

Interviewer: Alright... we will surely live to see and hear those songs. Finally, give the people a few words as regards Yahweh's tribe, her aim and an overview of your unit.

Tribesman Precious: OK. In a summary, Yahweh's Tribe is a platform for proclaiming Christ through God given gifts and skills.

The music unit is aimed at lifting Jesus up through music and declaring His kingdom here on earth.

All our artistes are committed to that course and I dare say that we will live and die if need be for the gospel of Christ
